Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

Proving a fradulent will?

Hello Lawyers,

I am in the process of fighting a civil suit where I know for sure that the will is a fabricated one. Can we use forensic studies to disprove this will?

The thing is my grandfather has the habit of signing and keeping things since he is a busy person..now I know that his son has manipulated the will - the signature could stilll be his- but the text and things were added after his demise..

What I am asking is - can we verify the date? For eg: If he signed in say 2000 and these fraud guys typed the text in 2006, we have a case...and this is my only trump card..

Can we do any tests to check the age of the paper/ text, signature and prove that these were not authentic?

Re: Proving a fradulent will?

you may challenge the will and your doubts would be cleared only after the will is sent to CFSL for opinion.
