what provision apart from 499 does get attracted if a defamatory article is published in a news paper in print as well as online , and the jurisdiction extents only to the place where it was published or at any place where it was read as it was over Internet , and what are the leading case laws that can be used for references

jurisdiction extends to any place where the newspaper is distributed. sec 500 talks about the punishment for defamation. for case laws, retain a lawyer for legal research.
