Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

As per the query asked by Adv S Kalra, let me mention you that my husband is on work permit visa. I heard that his company has applied for GCard but dont know anymore.

Kindly let me know which part of law ie. Civil/Criminal I should opt against him which be applicable in US too. Really feeling like lost.

Below is my earlier question:

Am a married woman staying with my family in India. My husband got job in US and staying there alone. For quite some time he is neglecting me and avoiding my communications. I have come to know from reliable source that he has engaged in dating matters & having affair over there and claim himself as single man. I too have some info about this.

I dont understand what to do and I dont want to divorce him. I am apprehending he will abandoned me and will marry over there. In this situation what legal step i should opt in India to save my marriage which simultaneously be applicable in US.

domestic violence act is applicable in US as well but dowry law especially enshrined u/s 498a is not recognized by US. so you may go for complaint under DV act.

You can report everything to his company in USA as well as USCIS who is proceeding with his Green card . You can file a complaint before the crime against women cell for dowry demand etc against him and his family members. I have few more things to ask you but i would ask you to call me on my cell mentioned in my profile. Just for your and my colleague legal knowledge ,the Indian Domestic Violence act is not applicable in USA .
