query

Can common man (withou having a law degree) file self case in trial or high court?For example 156(3),writs, quash petitions 482 and cases of 498,307,302.

Yes, everyone is entitled to pursue his/her own remedy in the court.

The Advocate you engage is your representative.

However, usually courts in India prefer an Advocate to represent the litigant because he is considered better equipped to understand the legal jargon and use court language.

Engaging advocate is facility and not mandatory for own case. A person can present his own case but he cannot represent other one without having law decree. You may go in court, but your success depends upon skill necessary required in dealing with court.

Any person can file a case. A advocate is representative its not mandatory to engage a lawyer.

Any person can file any petition under law through in person by himself or through his authorised Advocate.
