Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
This ques is for Mr Rajiv Gupta..sir I framed the ques incorrectly pls apologize..my ques was by wht date will the chargesheet filed and investigation start..I am pasting my ques again..I had filed a case against my inlaws, hubby and sis-in-law of 498a and domestic voilence..they all got bail..i have not recovered by entire stridhan and furniture..fir was filed in aug 2009 and they got bail on dec 5 2009 ..how much time will it take for the women cell to file a chargesheet i am living in delhi..pls help

in such cases, where the bail has already been granted, the police may file the charge sheet as per their own will and wish. only in henious offences, the police is under obligation to file the charge sheet within 60 or 90 days. the police may always excuse themselves by saying that the investigations are still on. however, you may approach the IO of the case for early filing of CS.
