: to quote citation in written arguments u/s 314 crpc

Whether paragraph of any citation/authority of the Supreme court or any High court can be quoted in written arguments u/s 314 crpc or not ? Whether there is any limitation of pages that can be given in written arguments u/s 314 crpc ? Is it compulsory of handing over all the citations which are quoted in written arguments u/s 314 crpc in general, specially when the presiding officer himself denied verbally not to give all citations?

1. Yes. Citations can be quoted.

2. No limitation on pages.

3. Not compulsory. However, copies are provided to the Court for ready reference.

Yes, you can quote the citation in the written arguement. There is no limit to the pages in written arguement. Further, you need to enclose the annexures mentioned in the written arguement i.e citations.
