to quote citation in written arguments u/s 314 crpc

Whether paragraph of any citation/authority of the Supreme court or any High court can be quoted in written arguments u/s 314 crpc or not ? Whether there is any limitation of pages that can be given in written arguments u/s 314 crpc ? Is it compulsory of handing over all the citations which are quoted in written arguments u/s 314 crpc in general, specially when the presiding officer himself denied verbally not to give all citations?

(a) The written argument may contain citations and extracts from citations;

(b) there is no page-limit for written arguments;

(c) it is discretion of the party what to submit with the written arguments.

1. Yes. Citations can be quoted.

2. No limitation on pages.

3. Not compulsory. However, copies are provided to the Court for ready reference.
