Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
Recently i was arrested in a 498a false complaint filed by my wife. After 3 days of booking FIR , i was immediately arrested. The complaint was not sent to social welfare department. what should i do against the police now?

FIR is required to be pursed, if there is any valid case made our for arrest, Police is now required to enter valid reasons in its Case Diary for effecting arrest of any person. If it is not so, you can take action against the police by filing petition under S. 482 CRPC or 226 of the Constitution against erring police officer.
