Remedial measure to delay trial in criminal case
I am agovt servant and one of my student registered a case agianst me under section 342,354,506IPC in police in kangra.My rivals in the deptt are with the girl and exploiting her & taken to politician and got myself suspended.they are even pressurising the witnesses for court to fix me .Challan has been put in the court.There is lot of regionalism anf i donot expect justice.My rival has occupied sheet of head after my suspension & pressurising the witnesses who are students & even helping them with money etc.Kindly tell me how i can delay trial so that witnesses may not submit wrong against me under pressure of my rival

Your Advocate knows your full facts of the case and can do this.

If you can prove even half of what you have said, you will succeed in getting the case transferred either within the State or outside the State.
Once case is transferred, you can proceed with trial without any fear.

Your advocate is the best person to do this. There is no law on this, this is a practilce aspect, and cannot be answered mechanically.
However, if the trial is not going propery, then you can certainly put your greviences, including transfer of trials.
