for the remmision

dear sir......

i m frm bhagalpur bihar.my uncle is in the jail from 14 years, he had got the life imprisionment punishment in 1994 and in 2 july 2008 his 14 yrs has been complited. he had in the jail during the hajat period for 3.5 yrs after 3.5 yrs he got the final punishment. today he is not getting the remmision of 3.5 yrs he spent in jail before final judgement. so, now due to that remission he is not able to come out of the jail.

so, sir there is any provision to get the remmision during hajat period.

Please be advised that life imprisonment means "life of the prisoner" and its only upto the state government to remit the same after 14 years.

Its not a matter of right of the prisoner.

You need to approach the Jail Authorities and the State Govt for remission.
