Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

Respeced Sir,

We own a shop in kolkata thats 6 yrs old..one of our labour use to steal and do wrongfull things in our shop..he was our employee from past 6 years so we asked him to leave because of the increasing problems......he (labour) has some dues of around 70,000 (off the records and without anything in written)that we are ready to pay off as it is his earned money..but he demands (1,75,000)a lot extra..and that too at one time.. he also uses abusive language and give threats to my father and me and my brother also..we have registered 2 FIR's/GD (am not sure about the difference between FIR and GD) its a GD i suppose...in Barra bazar P.S, Kolkata india..what should be our legal approach to this matter? Does the FIR/GD automatically goes into court and we will be called for hearing in few months? "i heard that after Mamta banerjee came in power this is what is being practised"

PLease Give me a Proper reply if u can...do not provide me with your contact numbers information and address only i can find that info from google also i didnot post my question here to get your address and phone numbers...Help if you really wish too..

Thank you very much sir..

Kauser

Local matters better be inquired locally.

After registration of a FIR, police may send a charge sheet or a final report requesting closing of case.
