Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

Respected Sir/ Madam,

My Vehicle Bajaj Pulsar was Stolen J P Nagar, Bamgalore on Feb 19th 2012.The Above said Vehicle was recovered by Subramanya Pura Police , Bangalore after 3 weeks.I had approched the court to get my bike released.I have all relevant documents including New Crime Number from Subramanyapura Police station and they have provided no objection letter stating that they dont have any issue in releasing the bike.I had provided indemnity bond with all documents required.But the Court Didn't provide me a release order .As per Court, the Theft Complaint was Filed at J P Nagar Police Station , Bangalore and Case Should be transferred from Subramanyapura Police Station in order to provide me the release order.Is it true.?Now my Lawyer is asking me to wait.Please Advise how to proceed as i am in dilemma now .Please let me know what is the process to get the vehicle released.

I agree with court verdict. It need to be transfered to Subramanyapura PS and they can release your bike. it will be prudent to wait some more days

You need to approach court exercising jurisdiction over J P Nagar Police Station, where complaint of theft was lodged.
