Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
Respected Sir,
What will be proceedings initiated by the court if the defendant is not available to collect a court summon at a particular address. ie. If the defendant has moved to a new location and is not aware that a summon from the court has been issued to him/her?

the he would be summoned u/o 5 rule 17 by way of affixation of summons and afterwards publication in the newspaper.
