rights of hindu wife

Got married under HMA.mY Husband works in US on H1.I am genuinely victim of domestic violence.I came back to India and filed for maintenence under sec 125.The amount awarded to me is not sufficient as i am planning to study in US.The maintenence awarded to me is not sufficient for my expenses in US.

As hindu wife do i have any rights to stay at my husband's house in US to study as maintenence awarded to me is insufficient?

Yes, you are entitled to maintenance amount as per "standard of living" and financial status/standing of your husband.

If the amount awarded is not sufficient, you may seek revision by filing appropriate proceedings in higher courts.

if the maintenance is not awarded as the status and way of life of your husband, you can file an application for its enhancement.
