Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
a schedule caste official , very frequently harrasing his superiors,when he is asked to attend office work.He directly thretens the officer concerned by telling, if you insists like this " I will lodge a complaint against you stasting that you are harassing me being a s,c candidate. The officer concerned is afraid of the SC ACT , he may be arrested and jailed with non bailable arrest warrent for aperiod of 3 to 6t months. so the officer concerned stopped him asking any office work and he himself attending the work related to s.c officer. Nobody could take any action.
What is the remidy for such candidates?
Is there no protection to the officers not belonging to that race?

in case he is threatening like this, a complaint to local police can be given and still if he does not refrain himself from threatening, a private complaint can be filed u/s 506 of indian penal code for criminal intimidation.
