Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
according to Sec 30 of CrPC that is sentence in default of payment of fine - if in a particular case if a person is only fined Rs 5000/- and no sentence and if he does not pay the same then what is the sentence which will be imposed by the MM

Maximum is as per the power of magistrate U/s.29 viz. 3 years. However, considering amount of fine of Rs.5,000/- only, sentence is default may be of couple of months.
