a single accused faces trial. judgment ends in conviction. substantial sentence is tobe passed. on date of pronouncement of judgment the accused remains absent in court. what is the correct mode of operation on the part of trial court

The issue is adequately covered in Criminal Procedure code. The court may not pronounce sentence in the absence of the accused.

secure the presence of the accused by issuing warrant and once the accused is present the court to pronounce judgment.
