Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
section138
sentence confirmed and appeal dismissed in a case under section 138 by session court . made bail application in the session court on saturday afternoon. will i be released or will continue to be in jail .whether complainant can withdraw 50 % of compensation which I had deposited in the court. Appeal in high court looks to be pointless since my case is very weak. let me have advice on my action.which can extricate me from jail

You may consider settling the dispute by making payment; and then approach the Hon'ble High Court.

After pronouncement of judgment, no powers to sessions court to grant bail. You need to approach high court.
