Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

Sir,

A complaint has been filed against my relative under section 138 NI Act. The sub judge has found him guilty and has passed an order against him. As per the said order he had to pay the double the amount of the cheque issued by him.

latter he had appeal against the order passed by the sub judge, but the District & Session Judge has rejected his appeal, on the grounds that their in no illegality in the order passed by the sub judge, so the District & Session Judge upheld the order passed by the lower court.

Now I am requesting your good self to advised me whether he should file an appeal before the Honarable High Court or not.

Sir, I want a genuine advice from your end. It will be your most kindness. thanks..
