Sir i am director of one Pvt. ltd Company our other director issue a cheque without any balance in banka cheque was dishonoured by bank party was give me notice under 138, 141 so pls guide me what i can do

Your only defence is if you are not responsible for the day to day affairs of the company. The supreme court recently held that a director can be held responsible merely because he is a director. he must be incharge of and responsible for the day to day affairs of the company
