sir is it obligatory to take signature of accused on chargesheet before filing it to court..
or
can police submit chargesheet in the court without obtaining signature of accused on it..

the charge sheeet is filed under section 173 Cr.PC, however, signatures of accused are not obtained nor there is any such provision
