Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

Hello sir,

I got married under HMA.My hubby works in US where he has filed for divorce. He has not returned my shreedhan and has shifted my shreedhan to some unknown other place. He has confessed in US court that my shrredhan are in possession both parties. But his father is now saying in india court that i have taken all jewelery and their son has given wrong information as i told their son that my jewelery are in possession of his parents so he believed me and gave this statement in US court without asking them whether they actually are keeping my jewelery in their possession or not.will indian court believe this statement or as because he has confessed it in US court will believe his father statement?

the statement of your husband given in US Courts is binding upon him and try n obtain the certified copy of the statement and file the same here in india to confront the statement of father. it is unbelievable that the son doesnt ask the parents before making a statement regarding custody. the presumption would go in your favour.

The divorce proceedings filed by your husband in USA courts may not be legal; you may also challenge maintainability of that petition in Indian courts.
