Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

Sir,my friend has been charged under section 387 that he threatened a man with revolver and two people and asked for 5 lacs rs.Even reality is that my friend wanted to marry a girl of that person.my friend used to call that person but no threatening type anything.that person took out call records as evidence..my friend is in lock up.plz suggest me what is the proceadure for bail.he can be bailed out or not...thanx..

Such type of false cases are now-a-days common due to corrupt police machinery.

There may not be much difficulty in getting bail.

However, in view of registration of an offence like one under 387, your friend should engage a competent lawyer to take such steps as would be necessary to establish false nature of case.
