Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
Sir,
My name is Rani, age 18 yrs, I am from Nizambabad Dist. of AP. My father put up a case against one person in 2008 U.Sec 363,448 IPC, After 3 months my father was died. My mother and relatives performed my marriage with our relative. He don�t know about this case. Sir, the case hearing on 26-02-2010 at Nizamabad court. Sir, now I don�t want to continue this case why because now I am happy with my husband. Please give me suggestion as early as possible.

U might have cited as witness. Section 363 is not compoundable. cpurt may insist u to attend and depose the facts as witness/victim.If u are not interested, seek the help from PP or defence counsel in the case.
as advised, you may hire a lawyer and he may contact the PP for closing the case or a petition in high court is to be filed for quashing.
