my sister was married last year nnow we got to know that our brother in law is impotent . webooked a case under section 498a on him n his family members.police arrested him n hegot freed after bail.his father n mother r moving here n there n are trying to get anticipatory bail.what should we do now.plz help

So far as the first part of your question is concerned you can engage a local lawyer and can oppose the anticipatory bail application which may be moved by in laws of your sister. So far as the question of impotancy is concerned in this regard you can file a divorce suit against your brother in law on the ground of impotancy and the same shall be filed in the local family court.

There is no point in opposing application for anticipatory bail. Even your 498-A complaint may be misconceived.

If he is impotent, you may seek divorce or annulment of marriage; and return of istridhan.
