Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

My son obtained compromise decree in OP for divorce. Criminal case U/s: 498A IPC is still pending. Criminal case is also likely to be compromised but it takes time. Bride's parents are not willing to wait till then. Can my son marry during pendency of the said criminal case. Please advise.

yes, your son can marry after obtaining divorce from the competent court. for criminal case, your son may approach the high court for quashing. once a decree under mutual consent is pronounced, the parties to the petition may remarry right after getting the orders and need not wait.
