statement of witness
recently i heard cbi advocate arguing that confession of an accused before a witness is importnt .if t the accused denies it later what will be the effect ?witness statement can be corroboraed by a document

Once an accused plead not guilty, the prosecution is required to prove everything beyond reasonable doubt, including extra-judicial confession i.e. confession to a witness.
