Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
i am a student of an engineering college.
four of my friends have been given false allegations of ragging by 1st yr student living in the college hostel..
our friends are absolutely innocent. but that 1st yr guy has left the hostel (maybe due to some personal problems ) with a written complaint against my friends.
the hostel super (in order to save his job) has also affirmed for the lie...
these students are about to be rusticated... and what is most striking is that no one is willing to believe them just because if the liar 1st year student goes to any higher authority, the college may have to face some trouble...
everyone is busy saving themselves while these innocent students are being made the scapegoat...
please help

contact a local lawyer.
Only saying allegations as false may not be sufficient to save your friends. Something more is required.
