if the trial court does not compound, you both will have to move jointly before the High court for quashing of complaint.

You may try compounding of the offences by reaching a compromise with the complainant.

these offences are non bailable and non compoundable. first you have to secure your bail and then only you may approach the court for quashing of the f.i.r. on the basis of settlement. unless the court quashes the f.i.r..do not pay any settlement amount to the informant/complainant.
