Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
I had supplied a material to a contractor as per the tender specs, after the supply there was a raid on the contractor and the CBI found evidence of him bribing an official. They also raided my office but did not find any evidence of wrong doing, but kept on insisting that i might have colluded with the contractor and the govt official and supplied below standard material ( whcih is wrong) and have charged sheeted me under sec 420 and 120. What is the recourse for me, and what would happend to me , do i need to take an anticipatory bail before the court hearing which is on 18th nov ( if i can get one ) or do i have to apply for regular bail in the court during the day i present myself.
