Tape recorded deposition
Can the deposition of the witness before the court be Tape- Recorded? if yes whether with or without the permission of the court. please tell a CASE- LAW

Tape recorded deposition is not permitted in Indian Courts.

Re: Tape recorded deposition
Since deposition of a witness is recorded in open court and before parties and their Advocates, there is no provision of tape recording such deposition. It is for the parties and their Advocates to see and secure correct recording of deposition.
