Dear Sir / Madam,
As per the prevailing laws in India, and the directives of the President of India, a Police Department official noting the Police complaint is duty bound to read out and hand over a copy of the Charge Sheet to both the parties, on their request.
Charge Sheets have to be submitted by the concerned Police Department within 30 days for cases referred to the District Magistrate Court or the City Civil Court for hearing and disposal.

Regards,
After arrest police has to submit his report within 90 days else accuse will be release on bail without any delay.
Good luck.
No time limit in strict sense. However, all criminal investigations and cases are to be completed expeditiously is the mandate of constitution. You approach high court for appropriate directions in that behalf.
