Dear Sir / Madam,

As per the prevailing laws in India, and the directives of the President of India, a Police Department official noting the Police complaint is duty bound to read out and hand over a copy of the Charge Sheet to both the parties, on their request.

Charge Sheets have to be submitted by the concerned Police Department within 30 days for cases referred to the District Magistrate Court or the City Civil Court for hearing and disposal.
