what is the time limitation for filing a civil suit agaisnt a loan agreement and cheque for repayment if the same.
the agreement date is of october 2009 and the repayment cheque is dated may 2010.
the limitation shall be calculated from the agreement or date of cheque (the date on cheque or the validity date of cheque of six minths)

3 years from the date when cause of action to file the suit first arose (Civil Procedure Code & Limitation Act) i.e from the date when the last cheque amount was not paid / chq got dishonoured.
