Time period of a live case

In india a leagal case between a co-operative housing society and the govt. Of west bengal was last heard in 1982-83. After this no follow up action was taken. Can it be revived now?

If it is not adjudicated by the court, if it is still pending on the courts file, it can be sought for posting before the bench and can advance arguments.
