Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

today morning i got a phone call from delhi informing me that,a cheating case has filed against me ipc 406/468 because i have not paid the reliance mobile bill,which i had taken for my team working in sales, due to there poor service actually we have disconnected the gsm no.it was a group connection,after that nobody reached us for any outstanding amount,we have not received any legal notice regarding this matter,i was told that you have to appeared before the patiala court tomorrow for this cheating case,unless office seizes notice would be delivered against you.i am from bhubaneswar ,should a consumer go to delhi for non-payment of mobile bill?is this a fradulent call?or any legal aspect concern with this would causes any adversaries?please answer?

It is certainly a fraudulent call. Just please ignore. cheating case are not communicated over phone.

Ask the person who calls to communicate with you in writting. Tell him that if he again calls him, you shall file a police complaint against him for extortion.
