Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
Want tot initiate disciplinary proceedings on an advocate. He came to the court as complainant witness and said that police had done mahajar in a particular house. But the house owner said police never visited the flat and they never had drawn any mahajar in the court on oath. What is the punishment he will get as per advocates act of 1961. Is it moral turpitude.
He was a witness in the case.
I have his statement on oath in the criminal case and the statements of the owner of the house who says no mahajer is drawn.
