Transfer Petition

Husband working in Orissa. 498-A case by wife in Punjab. Relative of wife is a High Court Judge in Punjab and influencing cases severly. How much chances that 498-A case will get transferrd to Orissa from SC?

it depends upon where the offence took place . If it is orissa the case may transfered . In extreme case you be required to go to Suprem Court

You have a good chance for getting the matter transfered to orissa.You have to move necessary application in SC.

like any other case with similar facts. i dont think a sitting judge of HC can make any difference at personal level.
