Me My wife was attacked by some goondas in day light and after getting her medical done at Govt Hospital an FIR was registered u/s 452/427/323/504/506 but the IO later on removed 452 427 and when we approached SSP he trfd the enquiry to CO who connived with offender and started pressurising us to compromise we refused and the accused are trying to file FIR agaist us by taking resort of 156 (3). What will happen and how we can protect ourself from 156 3 and the Police and accused nexus

one cannot be stopped from filing 156 (3) but magistrate will have to see the report of the police before directing registration of an fIR against you. You will have to contest it as a cross case if registered. The gap between your FIR and this application will go in your favour, since it would be considered as an after thought.
