Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

My wife is claiming fake jewellary in woman cell with amounts in round figure given to her and some gifted to my family members by her parents. Except it, I have returned all items. What should I do? what action can be taken against me by woman cell?

If the property is in the name of my mother, can my wife claim shared household in the sense of ownership under DV act even after taking stridhan who has taken her rented house? She is a govt. servant and earning more than me.

a wife cannot claim the ownership of the house and can claim only residence orders. in this situation, if you are staying in your mother s house, she also has a right to stay in the same shared household and in case you staying away in a rented or self owned accommodation, she is entitled to claim residence there instead of your mother s house.

(a) If you are living jointly with your mother, she may be entitled to claim shared residence.

(b) She is entitled to return of her entire istridhan.
