my wife filed Dv act 2005,498a cases against me, first dv act 2005case start to running more than 8 month, any time limit for dv act case.
Dv act 2005 case, Protection officer report
When the counseling was going on my wife brother brought his sister out violently (Protection officer report) protection officer report says there is no violence in this case.but the case still running.

Practically speaking there is no time limit for conclusion of a case under the DV Act although guidelines are given under the Act. However whatever may be the report the same would be finally adjudicated by the court when the case reaches for final adjudication.
