woman cell asked me to bring stridhan on demand of my wife. my wife gave an inflated list having extremeley inflated cash / jewellary. for extortion

(i) If our transaction settlement is done at proper stage, can she still file case against me after that? How should I take surity of it in woman cell while returning all these items in advance? will she withdraw her complaint?

(ii) If there is demand of stridhan, should I return which I & my family members are gifted by her parental members?

(iii) If our transaction settlement is not done as per her baseless expections, should I return stridhan/dowry items through court?

you are advised to filed an application for grant of anticipatory bail and return the articles in the court in lieu of bail.

She can move to court at any stage. So better to deposit things before court instead of now, else she will made illegal deamnds.

You should return her entire istridhan at the earliest without waiting for court orders. All that was given to her by either side (including you, your parents.relatives) belong to her. Once you return the istridhan, 406 is gone and she cannot claim again.
