Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

i was working as teacher in famous public school but resigned because of politics.i followed instructions of seniors that i should not interact with parents if they want to discuss anything.i should send them to my senior who is permanent employee here and only she can interact.yet i was scolded by principal why i did not interact with parents.so i was trapped this way.

later these parents also came to know that i was forced not to deal with them and so apologized to me.

recently they have sued the school and filed a criminal case against this very senior teacher for being very rude to parents and being too strict and authoritative with children because of which many got traumatised.

now those parents are approaching and calling me that i should act as witness in court for her bad manners,as i also resigned due to politics by her.she is a permanent employee here.

should i get involved or remain mum?

as you are a part of the ordeal, and you had to resign because of politics and the school did not support you rather traumatised you and you are also not in active employment of the school, you may also join hands with the parents.
