Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

My youngest brother who is a journalist was attacked by a smuggler because he had got publishing a news against increased drug trafficking in area . Police registered a case of 323, 324 & 307 and accused was released on bail by court within 24 hrs. Later on after 3 days, smuggler, who was released on bail, attacked on our home with his goons (who were unidentified to us), while my brother was in hospital. Our family hardly saved their lives and my other brother lodges FIR. Police once again registered a case against accused and some unidentified persons. After too much hue & cry by journalists union, smuggler was arrested. Police did not seek remand and Court sent him in the judicial custody. While smuggler was inside the jail, on his instructions, his goons attacked on my other brother and injured him badly. Police registered an another case of 307 against the attackers and arrested them. One of the attacker is showing the record that he was admitted in a hospital at the time of attack. Now main accused has applied for bail in session court and our lawyer is saying they may get bail on next date as they are very influential. Will they get bail? My family is living in danger. What should we do? Kindly suggest legal opinion as we are law abiding citizen and it is only option for us.

on the ground of several incident ,apply for personnel security gourd to distt. magistrate and court. if not ordered,file a petition in high court.
