Legal Question in Discrimination Law in India

The neigbours of our society are claiming to have influential contacts, primarily destructive in nature. They are often caught in activities, like high noise, late nights group (people from outside of our building) gathering and talking nonsense. When asked to show respect towards elders of the society they use abusive attitude and even does not stop to force attempt of personal attack...

I/we are helpless, as we are not sure what are their contacts and what will be the outcome like to be if reported to Police.

Please could you suggest here...

you may approach the high officials of police collectively and seek redressal of your grievances alternatively, you may file a complaint before local magistrate.
