Legal Question in Discrimination Law in India
hello, my question is :
is travelling with a foreign national in and around India illegal? My girlfriend is french and whenever we are travelling together we get harrassed by authorities. I am not a tourist guide, I am not guiding her. We are just travelling together.

If you and your French girlfriend are on a tourist visit to India, you both need to ensure that you have proper identification documents, visas and return tickets to your respective countries, no sooner you complete the purpose of your visit to India. It is possible that you are constantly getting harassed by authorities if and when your travel documents are not in order. If anything is haywire or amiss, you will be the first person to be booked by the Police. Take care.
