Assam State Govt. Service Rules

Sir,

I have applied for the service of m father who was working as a clerk in a state got. school in Lumding, Assam under compensation ground. So Is there any problem to get the service if I will get married before the service?

No, the marriage should have nothing to do with your right to seek employment on compassionate grounds, unless of course they have made some provision in the Service Rules which is most unlikely. You may consult some local lawyer or an officer in the same very department.

Marriage is a private matter of an individual and has no relevance to seek employment either on right or compassionate basis. Keep in mind no can be debarred from his legal right guaranteed in Constitution. Any law or rule denying legal right of an individual is null and void. Section 26 of Indian Contract Act is referred.
