College documents and Passport Documents
my fathers name on my passport is Jee Das but on my college documents its only Das so will that give me any problem to study in USA.

Normally the US authorities may be confining to your passport for purposes of name etc. However, it may be better if you seek correction of name in your college documents also so as to be in tune with the passport.

Yes it will cause problems if you eventually apply for a permanent residency visa (green card). The Dept. of Homeland Security, FBI, et al. need to conduct security checks. If there is lack of clarity in one's parentage or on one's birth certificate or passport, there can be delays, if not outright denial of the visa.
