Legal Question in Education Law in India
Domicile / Education Law
Me and my wife were born and brought up in the states of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh respectively. I am holding property in the State of Maharashtra. Since last 20 years I am working in the Gulf. My daughter is born and brought up there and not stayed in India except for the yearly visits. She is studying in IX standard in the Indian International School CBSE there. We are planning to finish X class from here and then return to India. What will be her status while seeking admission to professional colleges (such as medical or engineering) after completing 12th standard from Maharashtra? Will she be a domicile if Maharashtra or not? Would she be able to sit for the entrances test of the Maharashtra state? How about the other entrance tests? Will she be considered NRI? What will be the situation if she opts for arts or commerce faculty? Please advise. Thanks

Re: Domicile / Education Law
these are not the question of law but of administration.
i would advice you to go to the concerned institutions and ask them for perfect knowledge as even if i tell u something then the rules are different sometimes at different places.
