Legal Question in Education Law in India

Education

Iapplied for a Post Graguate program in HRM from a reputed Institute. According to the Information Brochure, it was to admit total 80 candidated (40 for freshers and 40 for having workexperince of 2 years). Cut off was only prescribed for written test. Around 500 were called, incl me, for GD & PI after written test.

Final selection list, however, contained only 64 candidates instead of 80 proposed. When contacted, it was replied that there was also cut off for GD & PI.

There reply is not correct because there was no mention of any cut off for GD/PI.

By not admitting total 80 students, they have not kept promise as per their prospectus and in the process shattered my hope for which I put srenuous efforts. It is inbelievable that they could not get remaining 16 students from a meritorious lot of about 500 eligible students called for GD &PI.

Pl let me know the legal remedy availabll. Should I file a PIL . Pl advise.
